Dear all,
Another newsletter! Because a lot is happening right now and also has to… ;-)
We have listened to your wishes - from Monday, 27.2, we will extend our opening hours, from Monday to Friday we will be there for you from 9am to 8pm! Saturday will remain the same, so from 9am to 4pm. But who knows, maybe that will change at some point…?
As many of you or rather all of us know, we continue to have to deal with constant price increases in all sectors. Our fixed costs have increased enormously, but unfortunately our revenue has not increased to the same extent / in the same proportion. Staff costs are the biggest factor in the fixed costs over which we have direct control, which is why we are now making or would like to make certain changes. The extended opening hours are one part of it.
The other part is our consideration to slightly change or add an option to the membership system. Our question: Can members here imagine helping out in the shop for a few hours a month in exchange for reduced or waived membership fees? For the time being, it would mainly be about simple tasks, such as unpacking goods or refilling. This system is based on the membership system of Robin Hood, which some of you also know and with whom we have been in close contact since the beginning. We still have to find out exactly what we need, but we would like to get a feel for it - so if you can imagine it, please let us know as soon as possible, by whatever means! Because then we can start planning 🙂 .
And now a last reminder: our crowdfunding campaign is only running today and tomorrow, that’s the final spurt, so if you also wanted to support there but haven’t done so yet, or wanted to let people know - now is the last chance! If it makes donating even more attractive: we will of course issue a donation receipt upon request.
Last but not least, as always: come by, let us know if you need something or can’t find it, and bring your friends, children, neighbours and parents ;-)
Because without your shopping, the Bioase can’t exist!
See you later at the Bioase!
