The year 2024 is now drawing to a close, but before that, it’s time for Christmas! 🙂 We have some quick and easy information for you:

Opening hours

These are our changed opening hours between Christmas and the new year. Please also note our annual inventory date!

• Thurs, 24.12.2024: 09-14 h
• Wed, 25.12.2024 closed
• Thu, 26.12.2024 closed
• Fri, 27.12. - Mon, 30.12.2024 regular opening hours
• Tue, 31.12.2024: 09-14 h
• Wed, 01.01.2025 closed
• from 02.01.2025 regularly open again, EXCEPT on Thu, 09.01.2025, when we are closed the whole day due to inventory

Gift ideas

Rebecca and Elke were at the Christmas market at Kranoldplatz last Sunday to offer all kinds of wonderful things: The beautiful, practical Hoppus bags handmade by Rebecca, the cool water-kefirs by Ashley, equally beautiful Bioase best-of gift sets, and - brand new - the recently specially created, TCM-inspired winter balm tea (Traditional Chinese Medicine) by Susan & Irene. You can now find all these great things in the Bioase itself.

A little special will be ready just before Christmas: Ashley has whipped up a holiday kombucha creation! Limited edition of course, so be sure to come by and keep your eyes peeled 😉

Pre-orders for bread & fresh produce

If you still need bread (e.g. ciabatta) and lamb’s lettuce for your festive feast, please let us know by Friday, 20.12. at the latest so that you don’t experience a blue miracle. If you would like THE Hausbrot or other breads for Christmas, e.g. for cheese fondue or raclette (tip: we also have melt-in-the-mouth raclette and aromatic Vacherin Fribourg), then we need to know by 12 noon on Wednesday, 18.12 at the latest, otherwise the bakery cannot guarantee delivery! It is best to call us if you are not coming to the store anyway: 030-36461211

To the people who are interested in Christmas meat: Some of you have already noticed that we haven’t sent out a fresh meat list this year. Due to the cooperation with Gut Kerkow, we have decided not to offer our “own” meat list this year. If you are interested, you can order fresh meat here and pick it up from us!

Unfortunately, the apple and red cabbage bags from the Schoof family’s Nordseeküstengenuss are no longer produced. Alternatively, there is frozen apple red cabbage from Ökoland!

As every year, the much-loved dumpling dough is flying off the shelves! If you want dumpling dough, we recommend that you stock up on it early or order it from us in advance, as it is only available in very small quantities!

Soup break

The last week of December and the first week of January there will be a small soup break, i.e. from 23.12.24 - 05.01.25.

At the end…

…as always, we say goodbye full of gratitude for you and your purchases! We wish you all a peaceful holiday season, especially with all the hustle and bustle at the moment, we keep on doing our best and hope…you’ll hear from us again very soon!
